Rec. Nov. 2, 7.0 p.m. Reno, November 1. This city, sometimes called the divorce and gambling capital of the United States, turned to illicit gambling clubs for banking facilities today, as State officials declared a fortnight's banking holiday to allow many institutions in a weak position to reorganise. Some of them are soliciting aid from a reconstruction finance corporation. Gambling houses generally are well supplied with silver dollars, and it is believed are ahle to carry on at least part of their necessary business. Many divorce actions must be postponed pending a legitimqte opportunity to secure money.
