Rec. Nov. 2, 8.5 p.m. London, November 2. Ip the muniqipal elections, the resqlts so far available shqw Jittle chapge. Thp slight advantage gained fyy Labour was dije to unejpployment agitatippg. Thp gains ai|d lbsses are as follows: — Consqrvatives, 28 gains, 38 losses; Liberals, 14 and 15; Labour 63 and 51; oth'qrs, 15 and 17. No pppamunists haye been elected. Ten stood at Bolton, bqt all were.defeatpd. Labour's biggest sqccesses were at Oldham, where they captured six seats from the Gonservatives, but lost heavily at Plymouth where the Conservatives gained six Labour seats and the Liberals two. The chapge at Sheffield, hitherto ruled by Labour, is that Labour now has a miuority of two. At Manchester the Conservatives have a majority oyer all parties.
