Rec. Oct. 31, 7.0 p.m. Brisbane, October 31. Victoria defeated Queensland in the first Sheffield Shield match today hy 329 runs. Queensland in the second innings scored 129. Hansen made 59 runs and Gough 34. Fleet-wood-Smith took two wickets for 77 runs and Black two for 17.
