CARS COLLIDE
LADY PASSENGER HURT AND REMOVED TO HOSPITAL Auckland, Monday. A head-on collision between twq motqr cars driyen by Sir Donald Mc^ Gavin, surgeon qf "Mellington and Mr, W . T. E. Kells-Mason, of Auckland, occurred in the Awakino Valley. Neither driver was hurt, but a woman passenger in Mr. Mason's car, Miss Mary Flynn, received injuries to hef face, which necessitated her removal to hospital at Te Kuiti. - The accident occurred about two miles from the Tunnel. Sir Donald was travelling from , Wellington t6 Waitomo Gavqs and the other vehicle was proceeding fq Taranaki from Auckland, .* Dpth cars were damaged, but Miss Flynn was the only occupant to suffer injpries in the accident.
