MURDER OF MISSIONARY AFTER RANSOM PAID

Rec. Oct. 31, 5.0 p.m. Shanghai, October 30. News has been received from missionary sources that Rev. Bert Nelson, who was captured by bandits in October, 1930, was murdered last August. Mr. Nelson, who was an American missionary, was held by bandits despite the fulfilment of his captors' fenlands for a heterogenous collection of material including arms.
