SWIMMING
The Whakatane swimming enthusiasts on Friday evening, witnessed an exhibition by Mr. Gordon Bridson, holder of several New Zealand and Australasian championships. . Mr. Bridson swam in the river at the pool by the old wharf and his easy action and remarkable speed were greatly admired by onlookers.
