SPRING TOURNAMENT HELD BY OKOROIRE CLUB ROTORUA PLAYERS ATTEND The annual spring tournament of the Okoroire Golf Club was held during the week-end, many members and visiting golfers being present. The following members of the Rotorua Golf Club participated : — Messrs. A„ Walden, Spedding, jnr., W. Monk., and E. Shalfoon. The winner of the Okoroire ehampionship and cup was Dr. S. Colbeck (Hamilton), who returned a card of 149, Spedding (Rotorua), being second with a score of 150. —The first medal handicap was won by King (Auckland) , and the same player was also successful in the bogey handicap 6 up. The second medal handicap went to R. Spedding with a card of 74 — 9 — 65, 'other cards returned being A. A. Martin, 77 — 11 — 66; R. Paterson, 75 — 9 — 66 and Shaw, 82 — 16 — 66. - A. Martin (Auckland), secured the third medal match with a net' score of 63, the runners-up being T. W. Aitken and E. Shalfoon (Rotorua), both 65.
