SOLID CARBON DIOXIDE

A NEW REFRIGERATOR. Imperial Ch'emical Industries, whieh has made the substanee known as Drikold, at Billingham-on-Tees, state that in appearance it resembles compressed snow, has a temperature of 144 degrees of frost (60 degrees lower than the temperature at the North Pole) and has several times the refrigerating power of ice.
