The eonvergence of thousands of hunger marchers on Hyde Park for a demonstration seriously dislocated the mid-day traffic, othexwvise the day passed off without untoward event. The demonstrators carried banners demanding relief or employment and sang "The Red Flag" or "The Internationale." Strong forces of mounted and foot police tactfully kept order.
