ROTORUA CLUB OFFICIALS APPOINTED TO CONTROL SPORTS MEETINGS COMMENCEMENT NEXT WEEK In preparation for the amateur athletic season, which will probably be commenced with an evening sports meeting at the Government Grounds on Friday next, the following officials were appointed at a meeting of the executive of the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held this week : — Referee, Mr. D. Cambie; track judges, Col. E. G. Fraser, Messrs. W. G. Harwood, A. de Luen, E. C. Adolph, H. Phipps ; field judges, Messrs. T. S. Robertson, Learning, Pitts; timekeepers, Messrs. A. Walden, La Trobe Hill, Shiels and Phipps; marshal, Mr. E. G. Guy; marksmen, Messrs. A. G. Cottrell and W. S. Henderson; call steward, Mr. A. G. Cottrell; press anu record steward, Mr. C. J. Casey; hon. track officials, Messrs. W. Young, F. A. Hayward, and Matthews; publicity committee, Col. E. G. Fraser, Messrs. D. Cambie, G. H. Weir, C. J. Casey, Mesdames 'A. G. Cottrell and D. Steele.
