SELF-DENIAL APPEAL
n.4
CARMICHAEL,
Sir, — We appeal to the residents of Rotorua and surrounding districts to assist the Salvation Army in the annual self-denial appeal of this difficult year of 1932, by practical assistance in donations to our collectors, on Saturday, October 29. In connection with our street day, gifts of clothmg, cakes, flowers and produce will be sold at a street stall at Coleman's Corner. All the proceeds from collection and stalls, go to swell the self-denial fund. This fund is of utmost importance to the carrying on of our great work throughout the world. If the money is not forthcoming to replenish the seriously depleted income of recent years, our social, missionary and general work in New Zealand and overseas will be crippled. — I am. etc.
Captam.
