MR. S. A. LEGGE

Napier, Thursday. The death occurred in hospital last evening of Mr. S. A. Legge, assistant manager of the oil department of A. S. Paterson and Company, aged 39 years. Death followed injuries received as a result of a fall over the bannisters at the Caledonia Hotel, some weeks ago. AL the inquest here to-day, a verdict of accidental death was returned. The late Mr. Legge came to New Zealand some time before. the war and was a cadet on a station iii Canterbury. He served with the expeditionary force, and after his return entered into business on his own account at Christchurch. Later he joined A. S. Patersori's branch in that City. He had been resident ih Wellington for the last fiXe years. He is survived by a widow and two children.
