Mr. W. T. Morrison, Conservator of Forests, Whakarewarewa, left by the express yesterday on a month's holiday. He was accompanied by Mrs. Morrison. Mr. Mon'ison has been in ill-health for some considerable time, and it is anticipated that the change will benefit him in his convalescence. Miss Una Roberts, who has been spending a week with her brother, Mr. J. M. Roberts, of the Bank of New Zealand, left by the express yesterday morning. Miss Roberts leaves for Sydney and Melbourne by the Mariposa on November 7 for a twomonths' visit to Australia. Mr. L. J. McLean, of Feilding, and Mr. R. C. Paterson, of Christchurch, are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. H. N. Ililliard and Mr. H. A. Steadman, of Auckland, are among those at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. L. Stedman and Mr. W. Dalton, of Auckland, are at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. J. V. Morean and Mr. H. N. Remington, of Sydney, are among those at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. Wood, of Melbourne, and the Rev. Canon Wyche, of Grahamstown, South Africa, are at the Grand Hotel. . Mr. E. T. Lawn and Mr. J. Keating, of Christchurch, are staying- at the Grand Hotel. | Mr. and IVIrs. T. R. Bloomfield, of 1 Waiuku, Mr. J. F. Robertson, of Wellington, and Mr. E. J. Hocking, of Dunedin, are at the Grand Hotel.
