NO INCREASE IN DENTAL CLINIC CHARGES AT PRESENT

Wellington, Wednesday. In the House of Representatives, Captain H. M. Rushworth (Country Party, Bay of Islands), asked the Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, whether it was his intention to set up a select committee to inquire into the monetary systeni of the Dominion. Mr. Forbes stated the matter was "under consideration by the Government." (Laughter) . The Minister of Health (Hon. J. A. Young), informed Mr. F. Jones (Labour, Dunedin South), that it was not intended at present- to increase the charge to dental clinic committees as recommended by the National Expenditure Commission. The Commission recommended an increased charge of £70 for each nur^e employed.
