The Whakatane Athletic and Cycling Club held a 33 mile road race on Labour Day. The race was run in pouring rain. Results: — E. Nowland, 11m, 1; Stewart, im, 2; Aberhart, scr., 3. Aberhart secured fastest time, lh" 41m 42s.
