MONTHLY MEETING OF TANEATUA BRANCH OF W.D.F.U.
The monthly meeting of the Taneatua branch of the W.D.F.U. was well attended. Mrs. Grace presided. Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Maddick reported on the meeting held in Auckland in September, under the auspices of the Farmers' Union, relating to the services of the bush nurse and housekeeper. The report was received with interest. Mr. Hill won a competition entitled "Naming Flower Leaves." Afternoon tea was supplied by a ladies' committee.
