GRAND JURY MAKES A PRESENTMENT TO JUDGE

Wellington, Tues.$ay. After the Grand Jury had returtted true bills in 15 eases in the Suprehie Court sessions to-day, the foreman stated he had been requested to express appreciation of the splettdid way in which the police had worked up the eases and presented them £6r the Grand Jury's consideration, an'd of the very.excellent work the police are doing in the matter of puhlic protection. His Honour, Mr. Justice McGregor, said np doubt notice would be taken of the presentment, and that.it would bs appreciated in the proper quarterS.
