"The Big Gamble" is Boyd's first starring picture, and it launches him upon a series of highly important, dramatic vehicles. Dorothy Sehastian is the leading lady. The cast includes Warner Oland, James Gleason, Zasu Pitts, William Collier, Jr., June MacCloy, and others. Teeming over with human touches, the Fox drama "Wicked," with Elissa Landi, is the second picture. Her portrayal of the young and trustful wife, disillusioned shortly ,'after her honeymoon when she discovers her husband to he a clever bank robber rather than the industrious hank clerk he pretended to he is one of the screen's finest dramatic contributions to date. Victor McLaglen, who made screen history with his impersonation of Captain Flagg in "What Price Glory" and "The Cock-eyed World," is another player who gives a splendid and intelligent performanee in an extremely difficult role. He is the leading male player of "Wicked. '
