FEWER BANK FAILURES RECORDED IN U.S.A. Washington, Oct. 23. The Federal Reserve Board indicates that Septemher was the most favourahle month for a long period, including extensive reduetions in bank failures, decreasing currency hoardings and an increase in stocks of monetary gold reaching 4,200,000,000 dollars. Th'ere were only 65 bank failures in Septemher.
