TE AWAMUTU Messrs. Dalgety and Company Limited report having held their usual tri-weekly stock sale at Te Awamutu, on Thursday, 20th October as under : — Theke was a small yarding of sheep which sold at full late rates. Fat woolly hoggets, 12/-; store woolly hoggets, 10/6; ewe lambs, 8/7; store shorn ewes, 3/1. A good entry of beef was yarded I and sold at full market rates. Prime j bullocks made from £6 to £6/17/6; £ young fat cows and heifers, £3/7/6 to £4/10-; medium quality fat cows, .g£2 to £2/17/6. There was a good yarding of store eattle and practically all sold at satisfactory prices. 4-year-old P.A. bullocks, £4; 4 and 5-year-old short-horn bullocks £3/3; Jersey cross steers £1/13; 2-year-old P.A. steers, £2 to £2/12; Polled Angus . 18-months heifers, 29/-; store cows, 24/- to 38/1; . bon~ er cows, 8/- to 15/-; yearling Jersey marked heifers, £4 to £4/3; medium ditto, £2/15-; small yearling heifers, 19/- to 30/-; pedigree Jersey bulls up to £10/10; others, £2 to 3/5-; dairy cows, £7/5/- to £9/15/-; best -dairy heifers, £8 to £9/5-; medium ditto, £6/5- to £7/10-; inferior cows, • £2/10- to £3/12/6; sundries at late rates.
