Foljpwing the opening the club has arranged a series pf cpxiipetitions eomprising a putt, approach and putt, and driving competition, and for ttkese trophies have beeri' secured " for ithe lady and gentleman winpers a|id seconds in each series. At th'e cpn_ clusion of these competitions a misced foursome match will be played and for the winners of this, trophies fpll also be awarded. ' v-' . As a result df the recent rains the fairway s and gnpens have been greajtly benefitted, and with improved weather should f be in gopd condition for the day's play.
