Rec. Oct. 23, 5.5 p.m. Capetown, Opt. 22. It is officially anounced that a geographical survey has established that the Rand main reef continues beyond Randfontein westward 40 miles. " There is a great possibility, but the values have not been proved. In the meantinm no companies are being f ormed. The reef is overlaid by dolomite 2000 feet thick.
