Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their usual fortnightly stock sale at Matamata on th 19th inst., where a go'od yarding of sheep and pigs and an extra good entry of cattle came forward. We sold: — ; Sheep. — Light, shorn fat ewes, 6s lld; shorn fat hoggets, 10s; woolly hoggets, 10s to 10s 6d; shorn wethers, 11s; M.S. Down-Cros's hoggets, 10s. Cattle. — Fat bulloeks up to £6 2s 6d; fat heifers, £5 5s; fat cows, £3 7s to £4 ls; aged cows, £1 19s to £2 19s; sound, young Jersey cows and 2-year heifers, £1 15s to £2 5s; best yearling Jersey heifers, £2 12s 6d to £3 15s; others, £2 to £2 17s; Jersey bulls up to £8 10s; yearling Jersey bulls up to £5 15s; othex's, 15s to £3 10s; Jersey, in calf, heifers, £5 to £6; dairy cows, £2 to £6. Pigs. — Baconers up to £2; heavy porkers, £1 9s 6d to £1 10s; best stores up to £1 3s; others, 19s to £1 2s; slips, 12s to 18s; best weaners up to 16s 6d; others, 10s to 15s 6d.
