Hamilton, Friday. A large- meeting of unionists who refused work at Horotiu Freezing Works was heid at the sandpit near the worlcs this morning. In the event of trouble a posse of police visited the works but returned to Hamilton when it was. found that nothing' of a disorderly nature had oceurred. There was no attempt at picketing and the volunteer workers were not molested. The meeting started at 10 a.m. and all the men had dispersed by lunehtime. There were about 150 men present. Pending instructions from the union headquarters the meeting adjourned until Tuesday next.
