Bloating Trouble in Opotiki.
Bloating of dairy cows has been causing farniers considerable trouble in the Opotiki district the last few weeks and a number . of cows h'ave died. In a number of cases it has heen found necessary for employees to watch the animals for the greater part of the day. Various remedies have been tried, with varying success. In some cases it had heen found necessary to pierce the side of the affected animal to allow the gas to escape. Both Were Startled
