Hamilton, report on Tuesday's Frankton stoek sale as follows: — Cattle: The entry of ox beef which was smaller than usual, was insufficient for buyers' requirements and as a result, values were firmer. There was also a shortage of cow beef, the offering of which sold readily up to last week's rates. Although only several of the first pens of the large entry of yearling heifers, as advertised,, sold under the hammer a total clearance of all those reserved was effected subsequent to the sale at satisfactory prices. Store cows realised Iate rates. Prime fat huljocks £5 17/- to £6 10/-; medium quality do. £5 5/- to £5 15/-; lighter do. £4 18/to £5 4/-; light do. £4 12/6 to £4 17/6; prime fat cow and heifer beef £5 5/to £6 2/6; medium quality do. £3 15/to £4 15/-; lighter do. £3 to £3 10/-; light do. £2 12/6 to £3; -unfinished, £2 1/- to £2 12/6; store cows 18/- to £1 7/-; boners, 14/- to 17/-; good quality yearling Jersey heifers, £2 12/6 to £3 9/-; medium sorts, £2 to £2 10/-; poorer-conditioned, £1 12/- to £2; inferior up to £1 10/-. Sheep: For a small yarding prices advanced appreciably. The majority. of the entry were fat wethers and for these and fat hoggets the increased prices were most noticeable. Prime wethers made from 11/6 to 13/-; medium quality do., 10/6 to 11/6; lighter 9/6 to 10/3; prime ewes, 7/- to 8/3; medium, 6/3- to 7/-; light, 5/- to 6/-; very prime hoggets 12/- to 15/-; medium sorts, 10/- to 11/9; lighter, 9/to 10/-; good lambs 12/- to 14/-; medium quality 10/8 to 12/-. Pigs: The pens for fat pigs and stores and weaners were full. Fat pigs sold at slightly lower prices than were realised last week, while stores maintain'ed recent quotations. Weaners, also, were a shade easier. Heavy baeoners, £2 5/- to £2 8 /-; medium do. £2 to £2 5/-; light baconers and heavy porkers £1 10/- to £1 18/-; medium, }

porkers, £1 4/- to £1 8/-; light do. 19/- to £13/-; large stores £1 2/- to £1 8/-; small do. 19/- to £11/-; slips, 15/- to 19/-; large weaners, 10/- to 14/-; smaller do., 6/- to 9/-".
