FORMER NEW ZEALANDER RESIDING IN AUSTRALIA

Rec. Oct. 20, 8.50 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 20. A mystery surrounds the disappearance of a former New -Zealand married woman, Mrs. Helen Lewis, aged 55 years, who recently walked from Adelaide to Melbourne and began to walk from Melbourne to Sydney for health reasons. While on the return journey she disappeared. Her husband said he conducted a business at Napier, and when the earthquake oceurred, his wife's 'nerves were so shattered that he came to live in Australia, but his wif e never properly recovered from the harrowing Napier experiences.
