CHARGED BY BULLS

TWO MEN INJURED BY INFURIATED ANIMALS
When Mr. F. Mead and Mr. A. MacCrae, of Wairata Creelc, were reeently mustering cattle, three bulls amongst the mob broke away and charged the two men. Mr. Mead and Mr. MacCrae were driving the cattle down a narrow traek and had almost reached the paddoek when the bulls turning back in the direction of the bush, charged the two drivers, sending them over the banlc into the river bed. Both men were thrown off their horses, and among the rocks and stones had to dodge one frantie beast. Mr. C. Owen and Mr. Oswald MacCrae (eldest son of Mr. A. MacCrae) who were ahead of the cattle, heard shouts. They turned back and with the aid of stieks and dogs drove the infuriated beast off. Both men are suffering from shoclc and slight bruises.
