Rec. Oct. 18, 10.5 p.m. Perth, October 18. Among the passengers on the Orensay, was Sir Hugh O'Neill, the first Prime Minister of Northern Ireland. In an interview he said that the idea of a republican Ireland is absurd, and it is not worth talking about. If the Free State left the Empire it would mean chaos, disaster and ruin, but Ulste-r would not raise a finger to keep the Free State inside the Empire if she wanted to get outside. At the same time Ulster is very anxious to live in peace with the Free State.
