Condition of Aerodrome

"When I saw your aerodrome a year ago it was quite good," said Mr. Ernie Boueher at the Rotary luncli yesterday, "and this year I expect it will be visited a lot. When I landed there this morning I found it was not too good." He went on to say that Rotorua was one of the places which would be sought after by pilots for week-end visits. The instructors would get reports upon the landing ground, and if i- was not what it should be they would not let the machines go. If any place should have a good ground it was Rotorua so that aviators would be attraeted. It should not cost much to keep the aerodrome in order and the wqrk was advisable as there were a lot of eyes on Rotorua.
