WATCH THE TEMPERATURE
Keep an eye on engine temperature these days, as the very Cool air exp'erience'd both in daytime and at night causes most motors to fun overcooled, a condition which is far more serious than over-heating, although few motorists seam to realise it. Cars with thermostatically controlled water fiow or automatic shutters are well protected' 'against this, but many cars have either manually operated shUtters or hb devi'ce at all for regulatihg the water temperature. Tn the latter case it may be advisable to fit a radiator muff, or even remove the fan belt.
