SAVED BY A PRINCE

ACTRESS'S BOAT CAPSIZfiS It became known recently that Prince Axel of Denmark, a nephew of Queen Alexandra, when taking part in ya'cht ra'ces at Stockholm, rescued the Swedish film actress Miss Margit Manstad from the sea. Miss Manstad was sailing near Noja Island in a small boat which was capsized by a gust of wind. The Prince was in a yacht near by, seeing the actress struggling in a heavy coat in the sea, dived to her assistance, and catching hold of her as she was sinking, swam with her to the shore. Prince Axel is 44 and was formerly master of the 700-tons motor ship Asia, owned by the EaSt A'siatic Company Ltd., of Copenhagen in which he once made a voyage to England, landing a cargo of barley at Hull.
