Enlightment came later when it was found that under cover of darkness, and while the family was asleep, a thief, or thieves, had stolen the mast and aerial. One end of the wire was attached to a pole on the roof, but this was carefully cut and the rest of the outfit removed without the least disturbance. Recommendations Made The advisability of breaking away from the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club and forming a separate club afliliated to the New Zealand Cyclists' Union was discussed at. a meeting of cyclists held during* the weelc-end. After thoroughly debating the question it was decided to place certain recommendations for a voice in the management of cycle raeing before the committee of the athletic body before arriving at a definite decision. The recommendations are on the lines suggested by the secretary at the annual meeting of the club last Thursday evening.
