TAKING FIELD AGAINST ENGLISHMAN AT PERTH STATEMENT DENIED

Sydney, Oct. 14. Don Bradman is going to Perth to play in the combined eleven against the Englishmen on October 27. He telegraphed to Perth informing them that he would be available, and a reply was received inviting him to go. Mr. Robertson (chairman of the Board of Control) has denied that he stated Bradman had given an assurance to the board that he would not write for the press.
