Sydney, Oct. 10. The Homebush slaughtermen yielded to the first demand of the' employers that work should resume under awai'd eonditions as a preliminary to a conference between the parties being held later in the day. There was a full yarding of sheep and cattle owing to the uncertainty of what was going to happen.
