GRAND THEATRE
TO-NIGIIT. According to advance reports, Buck Jones, delineator of western roles, has more than his share of obstacles to overcome in "The Range Feud," his latest Columbia picture, which is now playing at the Grand Theatre. To start with, Buck, as the sheriff of Twin Oaks, Arizona, in endeavouring to bring peace to the eommunity and observe strict neutrality in a range war, incurs the enmity of both factions. On top of this, he i's forced to arrest his. best friend for the murder of a ranchman. Making it all still more difiieult, the murder.ed man's daughter is the best friend's sweetheart. Continuing with the series of bad breaks, the jury convicts the best friend on purely circumstantial evidence and the judge sentences him to hang. That ought to be enough for one hero to handle, but Buck's difficulties are said to continue up to the last minute. Even
at the eleventh hour, when he is needed to rescue his friend from a lynching mob, he is- shot. . How does he get himself out of it all?
