Evidenee of having a premonition | for which he could not account, but j which proved to be the forerunner of [ an aceident, was given by a witness in j the Supreme Court in Christchui*ch. i The witness, who was in eharge of I bridge work for the West Coast, said j that he had told the men not to rush I on with the job, because he had a I "hunch" that something was about to occur. He did not know what, or why, i and could not account for the "hunch." i It was the first time he had had such j a "hunch," and the first time he had given a general warning to the men. That was one or two days prior to the aceident.
