Reading Hebrew.
For most persons of mature years the reading of the Hebrew Bible would present a very large task, but there is one young man in Christchurch— a young man a littla over four years old — who can read the Bible in its Hebrew form as easily as children of twice that age read nursery rhymes. He is the son of the Rev. N. Salas, the Jewish Rahhi in Christchurch. Mr. ( Salas has heen in Christchurch about [ two years, and, although he was born in Palestine, he has spent most of his life in Australia and New Zealand.
