MAORIS BEAT PAKEHAS TEAM IN RAGGED GAME The final match of the Rugby season was played on the Domain on Saturday between the Maori touring team and a Palceha team picked from country players. The match was very ragged, most of the players appearing to be out of form. • Whilst there was not any deliberate rough play, there were several stoppages on aceount of minor injuries. Unfortunately Connolly received a bad lcnock early in the game and was taken to the hospital; it is feared that his nose is badly broken. Hollis also was carried from the ground with injuries to his haclc. The Maoris won the match by 14 to 11. - •
