DODGING THE BONUS

PATRIOTIC STOGK HOLDERS London, Sept. 30. The final figures of the great 5 per cent. loan convei'sion will be made known to-morrow. It was announced some weeks ago that £1,885,000,000 had then been converted out of a total of £2,085,000,000. The final total doubtless will be even greater, particularly as many patriotic holders of the old loan preferred not to avail themselves of the special cash bonus in July, but to allow their stocks to be automatically converted as from to-night.
