The Government meteorologist is- • sued the following weather repwrt and forecast last nigbtJ— General' situation: The depression . referred to yesterday is crossing New Zealand to-day, but rs becoming very shallow; barometers are very high in most districts. Forecast: Winds variable and moderate to fresh with northerlies to westerlies prevailing. Weather: Some isolated showers in western districts and the far south, but otherwise fair to fine; temperatures moderate. Following are the barometer, maximum and minimum thermometer, sunshine, and rainfall readings recorded at the Government Observation Station by the Rotorua Tourjst Department for the 24 hoyrs epded at 9.30 SATURDAY Barometer 30.418ins.
