I A neat effort in repartee caused a ; hearty laugh at the commereial travel- | lers' smoke conc.rt at Wellington. Mr. ' E. At this stage a voice interrupted with the words, "I'll he the mug." Mr. Casey joined in the laughter that went round the hall, but when it subsided he said, looking at the interjector, "And you look the part." (Renewed laughter.) He was allowed to finish his remax'ks without further interrupi tion.
