The Governmerit meteorolonist ,ls-! sued the fojlowing weath'er report and forecast last niffht: — - General situation: An intense anticyclone is now located east of New Zealand, a'nd a fairly deep depression which crossed Tasmania will soon be affecting New Zealand. Forecast: Winds rather variable at first, but tending north-easterly and northerly and freshening. Weather: Isolated showers at first on the east coast and in the far 'north of the North lsland, otherwise fair to fine; temperatures becoming miider.
