GISBORNE DAMAGE
. Gisborne, Thursday. A rather prolonged sharp earthquake shock was experienced ih Cishorne.at 7.45 this morning. No stfuctufal damage is reported, but cracks in many of the buildings widened preceptibly. * The'borough water supply was interrupted, the pipe line heing broken and the water was cut off for .six hours.
