The tremendous forces underground are so powerful as to cause the Earth to tremble and vibrate and even huge masses of molten rocks to oscillate, seemingly imbued with rage and resentment at being so rudely disturbed. Indications of a heavy bush overwhelmed in prehistoric times are seen in abundanee.
