BOYS' BAND.

WALTER

DEAN.

To the Editor. . Sir,r-By your kind permission I should like to mention that I h'eard the Rotorua Boys' Band at the Point-to-Point meeting at Arawa Park, and I think it was very 'good indeexfy which is very nice for the boys. At the same time the racecourse is hardly the place for yoimg boys. No doubt it would be very much appreciated by the general public if they heard the band in the town on Saturday shopping nights, which should be far more important than the racecourse. I would again suggest, with the approval of the Borough Council, that they be asked to do so. . I hope not to be inform'ed that the band plays at the Government Gardens 'avery alternative Sundav. — I am. etc..
