— By Telegraph— Copyrlght).
Rec. Sept. 27, 7.0 p.m. Shanghai, Sept. 28. Reports from Harbin confirmed by Tokio, indicate an alarming state of affairs along the trans-Siberian railway. The capture of Manchuri, a border station on the border of Siberia and Manchuria by anti-Man-choukuo troops and the seizure of the station and rolling* stoclc is causing completa dislocation of traffic. Considerable forces are centred on the town, creating a temporary reign of terror. Though the fate of foreigners is unknown, there have been large casualties among the natives. The antiManchoukuo troops are firing on passing trains, thus rendering travel dangerous. It is rep'orted that they also intend massacring all Japanese in Manchuri and the Hailar districts as reprisals for the Japanese seizure of Manchuria. The announcement is creating grave apprehension. The activities of the Chinese volunteer corps operating in Manchuri, are causing tho Manchoukuo autliorities endless anxiety.
