On a previbus oc'casion the i?®i Municipal Band very graciousl®. plied the programmie bf music}® afternoon, gratis, and for this® the club was most grateful. ® It was f elt this year that an ® tunity eoUld he extertded to tli® for an outing to assist in the® cation in playing hefore the ;® As a numher of miemhers of th® Club have subscrihed to the® Band fund, the idea bccurred® inight' be possible to see this j® band in aetiori. The Boys' Bar® generously consented to appeaj® provided an exceilent musieal® gramme under the conductorsl® their handmaster, Lieutenant 1® gas. ® There was not thb slightsst g® tion of slxghting the Municipal® in tendering the invitation to® Boys' Band and it is felt that i® er bandsmen will whbleheartei® prove of the opportunity given® courage the boys. ® In eonclusion may I he permit® pass bn to" thfe handmaster a® hoysy the commendation receive® the puhlic who witnessed th'e pe® anee for the exceilent manner in® the programme was executed, in® sentiment I feel sure the older® men will wholeheartedly join. ® Again thanking the boys, and® ing them every success in thef® — I am, etc. h
