W.D.F.U. MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Ngongotaha branch of the W.D.F.U. was held last week. There was a good attendance and a very pleasant afternoon was spent. Miss Marshall (Cambridge) addressed the meeting on various matters concerning the work done by the union, stressing the good work that was done by sending out the housekeeper to those in need in the country. Much valuable information was received by those present and at the close of the address a very hearty vote of thanks was accorded Miss Marshall. Afternoon tea was ther. served. The h'ostesses were Mesdames Bryce Stembridge, G. Ford, Fishei', T. Ford, Isdale and Bruce. The next meeting will be held on September 30.
