Alexander Campbell, a recent arlival from New Zealand, after an avgument with a taxi-driver about the fare for the drive with a woman friend, was attacked by the woman, who drew a razor from her stoeking and slashed him frightfully in the face. The woman ran away and the taxi disappeared, leaving the victim on the footpath.
